Technology has been a part of my life both as a hobby and professionally for over 30 years.  I started my first custom computer building business in high school, studied human computer interaction at Stanford, and later worked as a Product Manager at a number of Silicon Valley startups and large companies.

I started NW Smart Home to marry my interest in technology with the enjoyment I get from teaching and sharing that with others.  I love the “Aha” moment when someone sees how, instead of fighting against a certain technology, it can improve or simplify their daily life.
